Sapa Snow Festival To Be Held In December 2021
Starting from 2015, Sapa Snow Festival is a unique festival held by Lao Cai Provincial Tourism Information and Promotion Center. This year, the 7th Snow Festival was also scheduled to take place at the end of December in Sapa Town, Lai Cai Province.

Around 315km from Hanoi, Sapa is located in the Northwestern mountainous area, around 1500 meters above sea level. Renowned for the roof of Indochina - Fansipan Peak, Sapa is among a few places in Vietnam offering spectacular snowfall scenery and the only place celebrating the snow festival at the beginning of the snow season.
Coming to Sapa in winter, travelers have a chance to witness the snowfall from the altitude of 3,143 meters on Fansipan Peak, wander around the town, enjoy the mouth-watering grilled dishes along the sidewalk, or hotpot in the local restaurants.
Moreover, Sa Pa Snow Festival is held at Christmas and New Year occasion, a perfect time for travelers to learn about local culture, tradition, and cuisine. Free opened for the public, the event is one of the most attractive tourism products of Sapa and the Nothern region at large.
A virtual exhibition about Mid-autumn Festival to be organized in Hanoi
