The coastal city is the capital of Khanh Hoa Province, which is located on the South Central Coast of Vietnam. Khanh Hoa is bounded on the north by Phu Yen Province, on the northwest by Dac Lak, on the Southwest by Lam Dong Province, on the south by Ninh Thuan Province and on the east by the sea. The province is divided into 9 districts and the coastal city is surrounded on three sides by three districts while the other side borders the Sea. The city is about 150km from Dalat and about 400 km from Ho Chi Minh City.
